Why VerifyMyProperty Was Created
Every now and then, we read a news story about a homebuyer being cheated by a builder or developer. A builder fails to deliver possession even after years. A legal dispute comes to light. An approval turns out to be an issue. Or a buyer discovers a serious problem only after booking the property.
And it raises a simple question:
Could the buyer have known about the problem before booking the property?
What should a buyer check? Where should they check? And more importantly, how do they know whether the documents and information provided to them actually tell the complete story?
There are countless platforms that help buyers find properties, compare projects and connect with builders or sellers. But there is far less focus on helping the buyer independently examine the property before making a commitment.
That is where the idea for VerifyMyProperty began.
What if a buyer could have the property's documents and relevant records reviewed before booking, so that potential issues could be identified and understood at an early stage?
VerifyMyProperty was created to help buyers look beyond what is being shown to them and understand what the documents and records reveal.
Because the best time to discover a property problem is before you buy it, not after.

How Verification Helped a Property Buyer

Legal Heirship Issues Identified During Verification
A prospective buyer approached us before proceeding with a resale property. The seller claimed to be the sole legal heir, but our review revealed two other legal heirs, no formal legal heirship certificate, only a notarised declaration, and outdated society records. The finding was brought to the buyer's attention & advised to clarify the succession and ownership records before proceeding.
